IMA Schelling UK Focuses On Practical Shopfloor Solutions At PWE

IMA Schelling UK will exhibit at the Professional Woodworking Expo (PWE) at the NEC, Birmingham from 23–25 June 2026, presenting a focused range of solutions for small and medium-sized woodworking businesses across the UK and Ireland (Stand B20).

Best known for its panel-processing machinery, handling systems and wider production solutions, the company is using this year’s event to highlight equipment that addresses some of the day-to-day pressures faced by smaller manufacturers.

“Waste handling, safe panel lifting and flexible investment options are all areas where we can deliver immediate value,” explains Markus Freuis, Managing Director of IMA Schelling UK.

On the stand, visitors will see two compact UNTHA wood-waste shredders designed to help manufacturers manage offcuts, reduce disposal costs and free up valuable floor space. The stand will also feature an Elephant vacuum lifter that enables safer, more efficient single-operator handling of heavy or bulky panels, reducing manual handling and improving workflow.

Alongside this, IMA Schelling’s wider solutions will be shown digitally on the stand, including Modesta extraction systems for woodworking and other applications.

“Solutions like UNTHA shredders and Elephant lifters work alongside existing machinery,” Markus adds. “They help manufacturers improve handling, minimise waste and make better use of space without significant changes to their setup.”

Recognising that upfront investment can be a barrier, IMA Schelling UK will also highlight a new finance option covering selected UNTHA shredders, Elephant lifters and pre-owned machinery. Agreements can be arranged quickly, helping businesses spread the cost while delivering immediate improvements on the shop floor.

The IMA Schelling UK team will be on hand throughout the show to share practical insight, recommend suitable solutions and help visitors get more from their production, with finance options available to support investment where needed.
