IMA Schelling UK is excited to welcome Daniel as our new Operations & Sales Manager. Bringing years of experience across manufacturing, operations and customer-facing roles, Daniel joins the team with a practical mindset, a people-first attitude and a genuine passion for UK manufacturing.
Ask Daniel to describe himself and you’ll get three words: charismatic, engaging and active. Spend five minutes with him and you’ll probably come to the same conclusion.
He’s someone who likes being busy, solving problems and getting stuck in. Or, as he puts it, he’s “more of a doer than a watcher.” Safe to say, sitting still isn’t really his thing.
Outside of work, that usually means running with his local club, getting out on his motorbike or taking on another hands-on project at home. From rebuilding engines and working on cars in his younger years to building a wildlife pond, greenhouse and garden walls himself, Daniel’s the kind of person who enjoys figuring things out and making things work. He’s even got plans to build a kit car one day – when he finds the time.
Professionally, Daniel’s background spans manufacturing management, operations and leadership roles, including experience as a company director. But for him, the most important part of any business has always been the people.
“One of the biggest things for me is that people should enjoy coming to work,” he says. “If people are happy, supported and trusted, everything works better.”
That mindset was a big reason why IMA Schelling UK stood out to him. He was looking for a business where relationships matter, customers come first and people aren’t treated like numbers.
In his new role, Daniel will be supporting the day-to-day running of the UK business, working closely with customers and helping oversee the continued growth of the IMA Schelling UK brands. No two days are likely to look the same and that’s exactly how he likes it.
