IMA Schelling UK has appointed Daniel Limb as Operations and Sales Manager as the company continues to strengthen and expand its support for manufacturers across the UK.
Bringing extensive experience from manufacturing, engineering and customer-focused leadership roles, Daniel joins the business with a strong background in operations management and a passion for supporting UK manufacturing. In his new role, he will oversee day-to-day processes across the business while supporting sales activity across the company’s machinery portfolio and support services.
Having previously held senior operational and director-level positions within the manufacturing field, Daniel says the opportunity to join IMA Schelling UK was driven by a strong alignment in values.
“Supporting manufacturing in the UK is something I’m genuinely passionate about,” said Daniel. “IMA Schelling is a business that puts people and customers first, and that really aligned with how I like to work. The focus here is on solving problems, meeting customers’ needs and building long-term relationships, which is exactly the environment I wanted to be part of.”
Daniel’s career has spanned a range of manufacturing sectors, including woodworking-related industries, engineering and SME leadership. Alongside his technical and operational expertise, he brings a highly practical mindset and a strong people-focused approach to management.
At IMA Schelling UK, Daniel will work closely with the existing sales and management teams, taking on an increasingly strategic role across the business as part of the company’s long-term growth plans.
“This role offers a huge amount of variety and challenge, which is something I enjoy,” Daniel continued. “I’m looking forward to supporting the team, developing relationships with customers and helping the business continue to grow. Ultimately, it’s about creating an environment where people enjoy coming to work and customers feel genuinely supported.”
As part of his early priorities within the business, Daniel is already introducing new staff development and training initiatives, while also preparing to support the company at the Professional Woodworking Expo this June.
His appointment will also support Managing Director Markus Freuis’ continued focus on strategic development and wider group responsibilities within the global IMA Schelling Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Markus said: “Daniel brings a strong combination of operational experience, customer focus and leadership skills to the business. His values and approach to his work align extremely well with our culture at IMA Schelling UK, and we’re excited to have him on board as we continue to grow the business further.”
